The Oxxford

Located in Chicago’s iconic industrial Fulton Market neighborhood, the Oxxford is a commercial real estate development of the a 1912 property at 1220 W. Van Buren Street.

In developing the strategy to appeal to a younger, modern audience of professionals, we built the brand to feel as genuine as possible by paying homage to the building’s history. One of its residents—Oxxford Clothiers—has hand-crafted artisinal suits there since 1916. Its distinct blackletter signage inspired a modern take on blackletter for the brand mark, while the brand palette pulls from the building’s vintage brick facade and architectural details.
